The moonlight through my window painted silver stripes across the tangled limbs of my team. My limbs. Chloe was curled against my right side, Hannah draped over my legs, Zoe’s head resting on my stomach, and Maya’s hand was splayed over my heart, her breathing slow and serene. We were a single entity in the dark, breathing as one.

    And then there was Brianna.

    She lay beside me, her magnificent, naked body glowing in the dim light. The night had been a claiming beyond any before it. It wasn’t just passion; it was a sacrament. I had worshipped every inch of her, and she had given herself to me completely, her soft, breathy sighs and trembling surrenders a language that spoke of total submission.
